One of our favourite things about producing video content is the range of people you meet and the experiences you have with these people. Last week we were asked to begin filming for our short promotional documentary on The Orchard Vale Trust, a collection of disability homes for those with learning difficulties.
The trust has four houses, all with their own seperate purposes and activities. Some of the hard work and passion for creating independence and allowing for a greater quality of life is is astounding. The staff are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and the residents couldn’t be happier. We spent our time there exploring the range of activities the residents take part in. This was interspersed with interviews from the staff and carers to capture the heart and soul of the charity.
It was a long day of shooting as the houses are dotted around Somerset and the sun was not on our side that day so time was of the essence. Long but rewarding though, we only have one more day of shooting this weekend so should hopefully be around for all eyes to see over the next few weeks. Keep your eyes and ears peeled as we have some other finished projects being released soon!
